4. The Day-1 Patch Was Just 88MB

The ultimate proof that Respawn made a well-engineered game is the fact that the day-1 patch is just 88MB.

While an infuriating number of recent games have released with day-1 patches exceeding 10GB, it's clear that Titanfall 2 plays out of the box as an extremely refined experience, and this patch merely offers up fixes to small issues here and there.

It's refreshing to see a dev not relying on patches as a crutch to meet ludicrous deadlines, but merely employing the update feature to iron out a few quibbles that showed up after the game went gold. Bravo.
