NintendoEternal Darkness: Sanitys Requiem is a survival horror game that takes the weirder portions of Metal Gear Solid 2 and dials it up to 11. It is a survival horror game that has much more sinister plans, especially when it triesand succeedsat messing with the player. Eternal Darkness is a time-hopping adventure in which the players travel through time to four different global locations. Its an unusual setting for a survival horror game; however, its the sanity meter, and the lack thereof, that truly makes this game demented. For instance, players can expect to find themselves suddenly playing as a decapitated protagonist. However, Eternal Darkness is at its weirdest when it messes with the TV itself, hoping to trick players into thinking there is something wrong with their hardware. It doesnt matter your level of gaming experience: this game will weird out anybody.
