8 Epic Video Game Moments That Were TOO EASY

8. Whale BT - Death Stranding

Nobody does a boss fight quite like Hideo Kojima, though it's also fair to say that most of the boss battles in Death Stranding were both mechanically underwhelming and way too easy.

And this is certainly true of the game's final encounter against the gigantic, flying whale BT, which can attack the player by firing a chiral laser laser at them and also launching BTs from its mouth.

Sounds awesome, right? Yet for as incredible as this fight looks in terms of its scale and visuals, it's also an absolute cakewalk.

The whale BT is really little more than a lumbering bullet sponge whose attacks can be effortlessly avoided, ensuring this is actually considerably easier than some of the game's earlier boss fights, namely Higgs.

Kojima has rarely steered us wrong with final boss battles in his games, but with the sheer wealth of combat options made available at this point, he allowed players to be capable to a fault.

Defeating the whale BT should've felt like we were overcoming something momentous rather than dealing with a mere mild inconvenience.
