Uncharted: 10 Game Elements That Should Be In The Film

10. Sam (Or A Reference To Sam)

One part of Uncharted 4 that felt a bit strange was Sam, or more specifically, the fact that Sam seemingly appeared out of nowhere.

In the previous three games he wasn't mentioned anywhere, by anyone. There weren't any hidden references to him, and until that final game, there weren't any major hints that Nathan Drake had a brother at all.

The film has an opportunity to remedy this, however, by including Sam (or at least, a nod to Sam) from day one. Assuming the movie does well and earns a sequel or two and Sam is in those sequels, it would be incredibly weird to have him just pop-up without any prior hints.

Again.

It's safe to assume the first film won't be a straight adaptation of the first game - very few video-game movies are - so there's a chance to switch things up and introduce Sam early on, despite him not appearing in the games until the third sequel.

We could see a story from Nate's earlier days and a mission he and his brother went on, or perhaps he won't be in the game at all, and Nate will just mention him in passing.

However it's handled, it would make sense for Sam to be given a hat tip, at the very least!
