8 Massive Predictions For Universal Studios' Nintendo Theme Park

2. Luigi's Mansion Ghost Train

If there's one major advantage to the Nintendo theme park being constructed by Universal Studios over Disney it's that Universal isn't afraid to get a little bit dark. The central ride in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, for example, can be quite frightening: extremely close run ins with the Dementors and multiple giant spiders make sure of that.

What better way to throw in a bit of variety, then, than to offer up a slice of the ghoulish in the form of a Luigi's Mansion-themed attraction. A spin on the classic ghost train would be awesome. Visitors could be guided by the fearful Luigi, providing great humour as well as providing light-hearted frights.

Universal could even take things a step further by sticking to the theme of the game and creating one of those light gun attractions similar to the Men in Black: Alien Attack ride. Imagine if each visitor had what amounted to their own Poltergust 3000 and they were able to point it at countless ghosts along the way, racking up a score for "sucking them up".

It's easy to imagine a hilarious narrative in which Luigi guides the player, believing he's protecting them, when in reality the reverse is happening.
