What Every Dark Souls Player Thinks Of Every Dark Souls 3 Boss

Once more into the dark....

By Jules Gill /

Much like the series itself, the road of reviewing Dark Souls bosses is a long one, filled with countless crushing lows (looking at you Bed of Chaos), and exhilarating highs (which is... basically anyone else), and now we find ourselves at the foothill of the monolith of challenge that is Dark Souls 3.

While some might argue this is probably the most accessible of the three games in terms of difficulty, FromSoft went above and beyond when it came to providing us with memorable moments and truly intense boss battles.

From fallen champions to an orgy of clergymen, there's something for everyone, and even though we've had to bid farewell to the franchise (for now) it's clear that this series did not go gently into that sweet night but fought hard against the dark, with its death grip (great band) placed firmly on the throats of fans, pulling them deeper into the experience.

Though it may feel like a final game, there's still a lot of hope among fans that another instalment will one day arise - but even if not, it's been well worth the time spent of the series.

In short: what a game. So let's take a look at the bosses.

Everyone. Everyone had the same experience when fighting this tin tosspot.

"Oh yawn, same opening Dark Souls boss. Big sweeps, bigger telegraphs, just hug the butt and WHAT THE F**K IS THAT HE LOOKS LIKE A POTATO THAT'S BEEN LEFT IN A CUPBOARD FOR A YEAR!"

For some reason, though, you just can't look at him and not think that he'd be a great character for a Goosebumps book. It's distracting, frankly.

Still though, great fight.
