Mario Kart is another classic Nintendo franchise with a real emphasis on social play and friendly competition, with action spread across famous locales from the companys numerous worlds. As with Smash Bros. and Wii U Mario Kart would give Nintendo the option of involving characters from its third-party titles; just how awesome would it be to race around the Citadel from Mass Effect, or take control of Arkham Citys Joker and create havoc on the Mushroom Kingdoms roadways? Even without these kind of additions, a Mario Kart game is a must for any Nintendo console; the Wii Us control system would give developers a chance to really innovate and add some new features to the familiar racing set-up. Having a game with such an emphasis on social play and multiplayer competition would also help Nintendo sell more controllers and encourage families to purchase the console on release day.
