WWE 2K15 News: Cesaro Shooting Motion Capture Today

The King of Swing to be a bigger part of this year's game.

WWE superstar Cesaro has tweeted to say he's shooting motion capture for WWE 2K15 today. This is indicative of a couple of things, firstly the game is still being worked on and not near to being the finished product. With an October release date, that isn't too much of a problem, 2K15 still has four solid months to work on rendering Cesaro and other WWE superstars. The other indication is that Cesaro could be featuring prominently in the game, which corresponds with reports that WWE are to use him as a very top star in the rest of 2014. This is a far cry from the poorly rendered Cesaro we saw in WWE 2K14, who 2K didn't spend much time on given that as 'Antonio Cesaro' he wasn't used on TV in any major way last year. Cesaro's tweet in full reads "On the way to an undisclosed location to do some motion capturing for #WWE2K15 @wwegames" The excitement is certainly starting to build for the game, so expect a lot more WWE superstars to be hyping 2K15 on social media over the next few months. Scheduled for an October 31st release, the game will be available on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Playstation 3 and X Box 360. It promises significant improvements on graphics, even on the old generation consoles. There'll also be better gameplay as a result of the 2K team having more time to work on the game compared to 2K14 which came about suddenly for the developers. We are yet to hear about the specific theme which will replace the '30 years of WrestleMania' mode, but a WCW and Sting involvement is being widely tipped.
