Last year's WWE 2K14 rating system was one of the few problems with the game. You had vastly overrated talent such as Ryback at a 90, compounded by errors with main event wrestling talent in the mid 80 ratings. How did 2K manage to make these glaring mistakes? It was all down to the game's production dates. When 2K14 was being put together you had Ryback coming off a main even title feud. By the time the game was released, he was struggling to jerk the curtain. The same issue afflicted the game's underrated wrestlers. This time last year, as 2K put the finishing touches to their game, you had a very different main event title scene. By the time the game was released in late October, the WWE roster had been shuffled significantly. Those initial errors can now be corrected. Several superstars improved significantly over the last 12 months, which the ratings system can now update to fully reflect. There's been several pushes and various card climbers. In this feature we will look at the 13 underrated wrestlers who need upgrading most. You cans see the 15 Overrated Wrestlers That Need Downgrading here.
13. Brock Lesnar
WWE 2K14 Rating: 91WWE 2K15 Expected Rating: 95 We start with a major star to get the feature underway. This time last year, Brock Lesnar was in a bit of a career free-fall. He had just LOST to Triple H at WrestleMania 29, in a match that made the former MMA fighter seem far less threatening. While Brock went on to win the rematch at Extreme Rules, it didn't really do him many favours. The whole Hunter / Lesnar feud had been running nine months, fans just didn't care any more. That maybe explains why 2K only ranked Lesnar a 91 in 2K14. That made him less of an opponent than even Randy Orton, who was rated 92. A year on and things are different. Lesnar went into SummerSlam 2013 and bulldozed over CM Punk in a match of the year contender. He then entered into a feud with The Undertaker at WrestleMania 30; which shockingly, he won. With The Beast now the conquerer of Undertaker's 21 year streak, he's got to be considered a candidate for a ratings rise in 2K15. He's now being booked as WWE's very toughest opponent, matching up against John Cena at SummerSlam 2014. Given the heightened status, Brock must surely be ranked equal to Cena. He deserves a rating of 95 which would make him 2K15's very toughest challenge to battle against.
