The 'Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase is a WWE legend in his own right. One of the biggest stars of the late-1980's, DiBiase made the mega-rich character his own. By the time Steve Austin made his WWF debut in 1995, DiBiase had long since stepped away from the ring. Still working for the company, the man was a manager, and Austin was placed with him upon his arrival. Vince McMahon's big idea for this was that DiBiase could talk on behalf of Austin and introduce him slowly to the promotion. In retrospect, Steve Austin didn't need anybody to talk for him, but management didn't seem to see him as a star in the making. Despite his respect for the man, Austin didn't really want Ted DiBiase as a manager, he wanted to speak for himself. Nonetheless, DiBiase was a crucial part of Austin's early run as 'The Ringmaster'. He won't be included as a character in the game, which is somewhat startling. To give the Austin mode full credibility, there really needed to be a segment included where DiBiase introduces his new charge.
