WWE 2K16 will reveal the cover of the new game on the July 6th WWE Raw. 2K's @wwe2kdev account tweeted "Just got back from wrestling our Marketing team for the Cover Reveal date. Tune in to #Raw on Monday, July 6. You're welcome." The unveiling of the cover is always one of the most anticipated things about WWE video games. It was The Rock two years ago, with John Cena fronting the game this past year. There was also a Daniel Bryan alternative cover in WWE 2K14, which was voted on by fans. In predicting this year's cover star, Brock Lesnar would be a very good bet. He's the most over star in the company and has appeal that transcends the wrestling business. There's also got to be a chance of it being Roman Reigns, seeing as WWE are so high on him and want to establish his status in more mainstream avenues. The unveiling of the cover will be the start of a big summer of hype, with the roster reveal coming shortly after and then game videos emerging around September. The graphics are expected to be spectacular, and it also boasts the biggest roster ever seen in a WWE game, with 200 unique characters. As always, gameplay will be what makes or breaks it, and fans will have to wait until the October release to really see if it is any good.
