WWE 2K16: Extended Video Shows Hideo Itami's GTS

Look away, CM Punk...

The latest video from 2K Dev shows extended highlights of a match between NXT's Hideo Itami and Tyler Breeze in WWE 2K16. What is abundantly clear upon viewing this clip is how easily matches flow compared to previous year's games. Even though one of the games' developers (playing as Breeze) is up against the computer, the AI has been improved so much that this match and its sequences of moves is noticeably more fluid compared to 2K15. Also, some of the spots on show are simply jaw dropping. A couple stand out in the form of Hideo hitting a German Suplex from the top rope that sees Tyler land on his face, a modified Sharpshooter from Breeze and a cheeky little horse kick Itami does when he fakes going for a huge stomp. Those little details are what looks like setting 2K16 apart from the rest. And, of course, we get to see Hideo's GTS in action which, actually busts Breeze open. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yv0Ls5IQCeM&feature=youtu.be One annoying negative that looks like being a problem in the new game is the commentary. This is the first year that three men will be behind the desk in a WWE game and even though this clip is less than three minutes long, the trio of Cole, JBL and Jerry Lawler cut each other off numerous times. Also, JBL - the heel commentator for those of you that don't watch the product - buries Breeze who is the heel in this matchup. At the end of the match Bradshaw says: "Maybe Tyler Breeze needs to go down to the Performance Center and learn how to do this whole wrestling thing over again."
