WWE 2K17: 10 Entrances They Must Get Right
10. American Alpha
Chad Gable and Jason Jordan have made a relatively quiet start to life on SmackDown Live thus far, but they look all but certain to become major stars in the show’s threadbare tag division.
A lack of competition coupled with Alpha’s popularity, chemistry, and exciting wrestling style makes them a surefire New Era hit, and while WWE games’ rosters are typically a few months out of date upon release, there’s a strong chance they’ll make it into WWE 2K17.
Their entrance is relatively straightforward: the music hits, and after a brief delay, the tracksuit-clad Jordan and Gable leap onto the stage with their boundless energy, unfurling the “Ready, Willing, and Gable” towel, and whipping the crowd into a frenzy.
There’s nothing technically tricky about this one. There are no fancy props outside of the towel, and their entrance attire shouldn’t be difficult to recreate even through 2K’s robust creation system. The key point is capturing the infectious enthusiasm that pours from American Alpha as they enter the arena.
This is the quality that fans started connecting with in the first place, and 2K Sports haven’t always done the best job of capturing that energy and portraying it in the game. Get it right with Jordan and Gable, however, and they’ll be onto a winner.
