2. Online Is (Still) A Hot Mess

Again, a feature that's long been problematic in WWE games, and it shows little signs of changing here: 2K17's meager online offering is an embarrassment.

During several play-tests on different days, matchmaking took from 3-5 minutes, and input lag meant that reversals would more often than not fail to register completely, making it easy for an opponent to relentlessly hammer the same moves until they pick up a win.

Compounding this is the lack of proper online leaderboards, which just exemplifies that 2K aren't really taking the online multiplayer seriously at all.

This shouldn't be difficult to get right at all, and yet they screw it up year-in and year-out.
