WWE 2K18: 10 Desired Wrestlers Who Won't Be In The Game

10. Pete Dunne

It remains to be seen what, if any, representation the new United Kingdom division will have in WWE 2K18.

We've just had a 90 minute special featuring the best of British, and a corking UK title match at TakeOver. According to reports in the Daily Mirror and the like, this hints at a new weekly show starting on the WWE's on-demand platform soon.

If that's the case, and popularity for the UK division's stars grow thanks to the added exposure the show will bring, maybe we'll get to see the British boys in a WWE video game down the line.

However, as we all know, the scans for the next WWE video game traditionally take place during WrestleMania season when everyone the company needs is in town. This presumably is to the detriment of the British legion as all they had behind them going into 'Mania was the two-day tournament that happened in Blackpool in January. This, sadly, isn't enough steam to generate the desire to see them in WWE's virtual universe.

Who knows, maybe there's been a plan to have the UK stars as a DLC all along? I don't think that would sell personally simply due to the lack of exposure the lads have had to fans the world over. I attended a SmackDown house show that included Messrs Dunne, Bate, Seven, Conners, Huxley, and Drake in a six-man tag match where they completely lost the crowd. If they're losing their home crowd, what hope do they have to captivate fans overseas?

I believe that Tyler Bate will be part of 2K18 in some form as he was the champ when production started in the game. New champion Dunne is the only other contender for pretty obvious reasons. However, due to the iffy timing and a relative lack of exposure for the UK division before last weekend, I'd expect 'The Bruiserweight' and the rest of the UK lads to miss out on a spot in the game.
