WWE 2K18: 10 Leading Contenders To Be Cover Star

10. Roman Reigns

Let's get the Samoan-shaped elephant in the room out of the way early on shall we? As long as Roman Reigns hasn't fronted a WWE game on his lonesome, he's always going to be a leading contender to do so when when a new game's release is just around the corner.

It's already been quite a year for Reigns with that troll-lol-lol-lol-lol, lol-lol-lol-lol appearance as the 30th entrant in the Royal Rumble, to seemingly retiring The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXXIII. It seemed that WWE's booking of The Big Dog was drawing on the notion that he's being shoved down our throats and playing off it. While a heel turn looked like it could happen, his booking as the sympathetic underdog (yeah, I know right?) against Braun Strowman is keeping him firmly in the face ranks.

With that casting as a babyface continuing, Reigns is still reportedly one of the company's biggest merch sellers and as long as that's the case he's always going to be in the mix when it comes to the top marketing opportunities in the company. It's certainly fair to say that being the cover star of the company's marquee video game is right up there in those stakes.
