WWE 2K18: 10 Things That Must Be Included
10. Remove The Replica Logos
Replica logos are those old school WWE logos that play off of past WWF logos, but without including the 'F'. You've seen them before and they're littered throughout WWE 2K17; it's quite jarring.
Now I know, I know, the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) is no more as they were forced to drop their longstanding initials back in 2002. In fact, we're approaching the 15 year anniversary of WWF becoming WWE on 5 May, but 2K18 really should do away with these logos that never existed.
The agreement made with the World Wildlife Fund restricted WWE from creating new content with the WWF initials, save for legacy content. The company can still sell WWE Network subscriptions, which sees the old logos uncensored, but can't create new products with them, like video games.
Seeing the WWF's classic block, slanted New Generation, and Attitude Era scratch logos make for a much more pleasurable viewing experience. Ideally, they'd all be in the game, but since they can't be, 2K should just let users create their own. Especially with the vast number of community-created logos available to download, omitting these "replacement logos" would go a long way towards producing a game that accurately depicts the past.
