WWE 2K19: 10 Legends Who Must Be Included
Time for 2K to tag the Hulkster back in...
Playing as the likes of Kurt Angle (both the '01 and '06 versions), Dusty Rhodes, Eddie Guerrero, Bret Hart and more was awesome in WWE 2K18. This is what these games should be about; being able to live out those dream matches that were once mere fantasy is exciting.
It sucks when one half of your dream match is missing though.
We're a greedy bunch, and we demand that 2K cram as many legends onto the roster as possible. What good is it to have Randy Savage strutting his stuff if Hulk Hogan isn't there to rekindle memories of WrestleMania V, for example? Further, why is Ted DiBiase, one of WWE's most iconic characters, consigned to a managerial role?
These are the questions 2K must ask before 2K19's release later this year. Yes, there are outside factors governing exactly who the developers can pick, but it's in their best interests to squeeze as much pre-release anticipation from longtime series fans as they can.
There are few better ways to do that than by revealing some new legends that beef up the roster, brother...
10. The Dudley Boyz
There were some nifty options for those looking to download Bubba Ray and D-Von via 2K18's Community Creations suite. For the best, check out this version. Then, start sending your emails and tweets to 2K begging them to include The Dudley Boyz out of the box in 2K19.
That WWE Hall Of Fame induction right before WrestleMania 34 means it must happen. There's no good reason why 2K should exclude the storyline half-brothers.
To a certain age, having The Dudleyz in-game to break tables and relive their TLC epics with The Hardy Boyz and Edge/Christian is essential. Now the pair have been honoured as part of the HOF, there's a great chance they'll be part of the legends lineup this year.
It'd be a disaster if 2K kept Bubba Ray and D-Von back for some sort of "Enduring Icons" DLC pack. They're one of the most legendary tag-teams in WWE history and should, quite honestly, be there every single year on-disc.
