As first revealed at yesterday's NXT UK tapings, current WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne and former champ Tyler Bate are set to be part of the upcoming WWE 2K19 video game.

The unveiling of the pair came via New Day's Xavier Woods, a keen gamer himself, after a teaser announcement was released on the official WWE 2K Twitter.

Since the inception of WWE's United Kingdom division and the subsequent announcement of NXT UK, fans have been begging for Bate and Dunne to be included in the game. There had been speculation among fans of a possible UK-based DLC pack for WWE 2K18 last year and with the addition of two NXT UK stars, those hopes can only pass over to this year's game. 2K18's moves pack update did however include quite a number of Pete and Tyler's signature moves, adding more fuel to the fire.

The two British Strong Style members have been key figures in WWE since being introduced. They were the final two in the inaugural United Kingdom Championship Tournament in January 2017, and put on WWE's match of the year for 2017 at NXT TakeOver: Chicago. Them being added to a game was the next step for the duo.
