2. No More Loot Boxes

It was just a matter of time before these games joined the current industry-wide run on loot boxes, and though 2K18's loot system isn't merely a means to incentivise microtransactions, it's still an incredibly bland and satisfying way to unlock new goodies.

Isn't merit a much more enjoyable way to progress, rather than leaving it up to a roll of the dice? Sadly loot box nonsense doesn't seem likely to disappear any time soon, and while it could certainly be much worse here, 2K could still do everyone a favour by ripping it out of the next game.

They'll probably end up doing the total opposite and plugging a microtransaction system into it, sadly.
