2. MyRise Continues To Impress & Reward

Over the last couple of releases, MyRise has slowly but surely become a major favourite of many gamers, and those gamers won't just have a lot to enjoy in WWE 2K25, but they'll be nicely rewarded as you go.

Of course, those rewards can come in the shape of certain unlockables, but you'll also be rewarded by MyRise having plenty of nods and winks to previous MyRise stories. If you were invested in WWE 2K24's Unleashed or Undisputed, you'll run into several familiar faces and places in WWE 2K25.

Freshening things up, there's a slightly different approach to MyRise in 2K25. Rather than giving you a straight-up choice of playing either as a male or female custom character, those paths are instead intertwined here.

Not to give away any spoilers, per se, but you start MyRise as one character - someone Triple H is looking to lead his new era as the latest WWE Draft looms large - then soon seek backup in the shape of that other male or female character. From there, you can switch between each character with a simple button click, with one being on Raw and the other on SmackDown.

Again, we'll keep this purposely vague for fear of spoilers, but the core story of MyRise revolves around Mutiny, a mystery faction that's targeting the WWE roster and causing chaos on WWE programming. With plenty of twists and turns, it is an absolute blast. And not just that, but MyRise has a whole bunch of replayability due to how vastly different the story can play out depending on what choices you make along the way.
