1. Shield Surf
Eat your heart out, Legolas.
What's fast becoming the 'in' thing with all these Hyrulean youngsters is shield surfing - but just be careful, as it can get you killed.
To begin, first hold ZL to block with any shield, then keep holding, jump forward and hit A - Link will flip the shield and land on it, challenging you to keep up. Be aware that doing this does degrade all shields, so perhaps don't try it with your finest steel, and if something breaks when you're hurtling down a mountain, Link will get thrown off with some pretty violent force, occasionally killing him.
Still, flying down the westerly winter mountainsides of Hyrule feels ACE.
