10. The Walking Dead
The Walking Dead is a property that forever has its wheels spinning, expanding on its existing lore and looking to spotlight new angles to the post-apocalyptic world that's dominated by the shuffling undead and the even more sinister threat of certain humans. And 2024 is no different for the wider Walking Dead franchise, with plenty more horrors on the way.
First and foremost, the story of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) will be picked up with in The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. Premiering on 25 February, this series will follow-on from the end of the main Walking Dead show, as Michonne looks to finally find her once-believed-dead partner. Pollyanna McIntosh will be back as Jadis, the CRM officer who played such a pivotal part in Rick's disappearance, and she'll be joined by Lost favourite Terry O'Quinn, who'll be playing Major General Beale, a villainous character teased throughout The Walking Dead: World Beyond and someone already responsible for countless deaths.
Elsewhere, 2024 finds the Maggie and Negan-centric Walking Dead: Dead City with a second season in production, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon renewed for a second year known as The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon - The Book of Carol, and Tales of the Walking Dead to be followed by More Tales from the Walking Dead Universe.
