4. Nikki - Obsession

Without question, one of the breakout movies of 2026, and not just in the world of horror, is Curry Barker's Obsession, with the shining star being the emergence of Inde Navarrette. She has become a megastar almost overnight, something totally deserved off the back of her performance as Nikki.

Nikki was the object of Bear's (Michael Johnston) affections, and when he used his One Wish Willow to magically make the feelings reciprocated, an obsessive side of her grew. The normal Nikki was shut out and replaced with the monster of Bear's creation, and off the back of her infatuation with him, she did some truly atrocious things.

Remains were tarnished, lines were crossed, and innocent people were killed, all because Bear didn't think of the consequences of controlling someone's emotions and their life the way he did.

While others on this list had to wait to find out what they had done, Nikki found out immediately as her conscious mind returned in place of her obsessive one. The sad truth is that, though she had no hand on the steering wheel when it happened, she killed innocent people and likely faced the consequences as soon as the credits began to roll.
