11. Roman Bridger - Scream 3

Scream 3 is the only film in the franchise to feature a solo killer, with its standalone Ghostface revealed to be Sidney's half-brother Roman Bridger (Scott Foley).

Sid seemingly ends up sending Roman to his grave with a well-placed knife to the chest, and in an unexpectedly touching moment, she even holds his hand as he appears to shuffle off his mortal coil. But as is tradition, Roman of course comes back for one last scare, prompting Dewey to spring into action and basically empty an entire clip in Roman, failing to appreciate that he's wearing a bulletproof vest.

As an incensed Roman hilariously shouts, "You can't f**king kill me!," Sid repeatedly urges Dewey to instead shoot him in the end, which, after a few moments of confusion, he finally does.

Roman is far from a fan favourite Ghostface, but his demise is at least one of the series' more amusingly twisted.
