8. Dipped In Honey - Keeper

Oz Perkins' wildly divisive new horror film Keeper ends on a hilariously ridiculous note few could've ever seen coming.

We eventually learn that Liz's (Tatiana Maslany) partner Malcolm (Rossif Sutherland) is actually around 200 years old, and alongside his cousin Darren (Kett Turton) has spent the last two centuries feeding unsuspecting women to local creatures in exchange for a longer lifespan.

Though Malcolm plans to feed Liz to the creatures, they refuse to kill her due to her resemblance to their mother, instead choosing to free her. In the final scene, a black-eyed Liz approaches Malcolm, who has now aged rapidly and is hung upside down, before dunking his head into a giant jar of honey, leaving him to drown.

It's certainly a fitting end for Malcolm, though this utterly bonkers, left-field climax, which leaves so much unresolved, is unlikely to convince anyone who was already totally mystified by Perkins' polarising latest.
