16. The Bathroom Set Is From The Original Movie

Almost exactly an hour into the movie, we see Sidney (Neve Campbell) enter a bathroom on the Sunrise Studios backlot, where she encounters Angelina (Emily Mortimer) hanging out in a bathroom stall with a Ghostface mask.

What can be easily missed is that this is in fact a replication of the high school bathroom where Sidney was attacked in the original Scream. 

While they might look like the most boring, dead-ordinary bathrooms imaginable, take a closer look at the soap dispensers and you'll see they're totally identical.

Clearly the production design team had a ton of fun recreating those original sets.
