10 Albums You Won't Believe Are 10 Years Old In 2016

By Brian Wilson /

4. The Killers €“ Sam's Town

Hard to believe we've all been drunkenly singing along to When You Were Young for almost ten years now, but it's true. Sam's Town released in October 2006 and was the follow up to 2004's début release Hot Fuss. Another of the record's successful singles was the song Bones, which was accompanied by a skeletal music video directed by none other than film-maker Tim Burton. Since Sam's Town was released, The Killers have dropped Sawdust, Day & Age, Battle Born and a greatest hits album. Not only that, but lead vocalist Brandon Flowers now has his own solo career. A lot can happen in ten years.
