Canadian rockers Three Days Grace may have only released their first album in 2003, but they've actually been around in one form or another since the early 90s.

That self-titled debut release sold huge numbers both in their native land and south of the border and they've followed up this success with a string of hit albums.

By the time 2018 came along, the band were established megastars who'd been performing together for the better part of three decades.

Considering all that, you'd have thought that they'd have known how to write a chorus.

What is going on there?

The song is about a man who doesn't know what to do, but the band chose to convey that by just spewing random directions out. There's no artistry here, just the transcript of a malfunctioning SatNav.

Also, the opening lyrics switch to German for no apparent reason!

This is the only non-English language part of the whole song and it makes no sense.

Maybe they'd all been listening to too much Kraftwerk?
