10 AWFUL Albums By Legendary Bands
10. The Killers - Battle Born (2012)
The Killer's first three albums (Hot Fuss, Sam's Town, and Day And Age) were groundbreaking for the Indie music scene and elevated the band into legendary stadium rock territory.
Hot Fuss, released in 2004, introduced the world to the Killers in spectacular fashion. Tunes like Somebody Told Me, All These Things I've Done and Mr. Brightside are iconic indie anthems.
8 years later, The Killers dropped their fourth album - Battle Born. Although Brandon Flowers' vocals still shine through, Battle Born is a tough listening experience. The samey tracks somehow mould into one long slog leaving you more exhausted than the driving metaphors that are in every single song on this album.
Worst song: Here With Me
The song is essentially a better produced version of David Brent's Free Love Freeway from The Office. Confusing lyrics about a mysterious woman in a picture? Check. Drawn out cliches about driving away? Check. Repeatedly singing about how your baby is gone. Checky McCheck Check.
Worst lyrics: Maybe we were just too young. Your body was tanned and your hair was long. It's easy to imagine Brent singing those words in front of his co-workers during a training day about customer service.
