There is a renewed buzz in the air for all things Destiny's Child after their incredible reunion at the Superbowl, which saw Beyonce join forces with former bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams in a celebration of their incredible career as a group and of course as solo artists. So lets take a look at the top 10 Destiny's Child songs of their career, from tender beginnings to global superstardom.
10. Cater 2 U
This track probably isn't one of the most remembered Destiny's Child songs, and is all about serving your man. It was from their last album, so lacklustre additions tend to creep up. The hook isn't very strong, but it is quite nostalgic to hear that early 2000's RnB meets Pop vibe once again. This tune has a music video that isn't half as offensive or tacky as many other early 2000's videos appear today, so it was nice to see the ladies looking lovely, instead of some of their other colourful fashion faux pas.
9. Nuclear
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPeRZk2MhPE&list=UUjvlwa6AOFGJ6e3Mjr2cg3w&index=1 Nuclear is a track that hasn't received much airplay and features as the sole new song on Destiny's Child new album "Love Songs" and it is also the first new track by the group since disbanding in 2006. It is a little bit slow and a often difficult to tell the difference between where the verse becomes a bridge and where that merges into a chorus - as there isn't much sectioning in the song. However as usual, the harmonies are on point and it deserves a top 10 spot, just for signifying the return of the once great girl group.
