8. Robert Palmer - Addicted To Love

The late Yorkshireman's signature song exemplified all his best musical qualities but it's hard to deny that it would likely not have been as much of a global smash had it not been for its particularly classy video, shot by acclaimed fashion photographer Terence Donovan.

Featuring a bevy of models decked out in Patrick Nagel-esque mannequin-like attire, with dark makeup and clothes, it's proved a particularly striking addition to the canon over the years, with Palmer revisiting the style for several of his latter videos, while other artists - namely Mr Blobby - parodying it in their own works.
