10 Best Post-Hardcore Albums Of The 21st Century

8. Silverstein €“ This Is How The Wind Shifts

This is how the Wind Shifts was Silverstein€™s first album since the departure of lead guitarist Neil Boshart, who was replaced by Paul-Marc Rosseau. He certainly brings a fresh sound to the Canadian band and does not seem out of place in the slightest, despite Boshart€™s unquestionable success during his 13 years with the band, Rosseau even briefly lends his vocals to one of the tracks. It is a concept album, which isn€™t always clear at times. However some outstanding tracks such as €˜Massachusetts€™ and €˜In Silent Seas We Drown€™ make up for that with the perfect combination of clean and unclean vocals from Shane Told, as well as some extraordinarily strong choruses. If you're a fan of any of the bands on this list but haven't checked out Silverstein yet, listen to this album and the chances are you will have a new favourite band.
