10. Guitar Battle Solo - Guitar Hero III

You couldn't really escape the allure of Guitar Hero in the mid '00s. No matter what gaming console you had your disposal, there was typically some plastic guitar you had lying around for any time that you wanted to feel like a rockstar in your living room.

Playing classic rock with video games is one thing, but when it was time to include cameo appearances, Slash was pretty much a no-brainer.

This entire project could have just been an easy vanity project for Slash, but the fact that he laid down one of his greatest solos shows that he understood the love and care put into the game.

While Guitar Hero III was everywhere after the turn of the century, I put it on here because most people probably don't know the solo in full and know it more for how many times you had to battle Slash in practice mode before mastering it.

For as frustrating as this song may have been to play through, the licks Slash pulls out are to die for, as he works his way through glam rock licks and even showing off some metal chops here and there. No one was denying the guitar hero status of Slash, but just in case there were any doubters, this solo is a one-stop shop of everything that makes him awesome.
