10 Best Twenty One Pilots Songs

10. The Judge – Blurryface (2015)

The singles ‘Stressed Out’ and ‘Ride’ are undoubtedly the most popular tunes on Blurryface. But the best moments on this terrific record can be found on some of the deeper cuts.

With its five-minute runtime, ‘The Judge’ is one of the longest tracks from the band. The song is driven by light ukulele chords, a catchy vocal melody, and Joseph’s use of falsetto which gives the chorus a euphoric feeling that’s adverse to the grimier quality of the earlier songs.

Despite the long runtime, Dun keeps things interesting with frequent tempo changes. This is particularly noticeable during the bridge when Joseph breaks the fourth wall and sings, ‘I don’t know if this song is a surrender or a revel’.

For those who are only familiar with the big singles from Blurryface, ‘The Judge’ is definitely one to check out.
