Before there was Bieber there was Donny Osmond, who in the '70's gave us unforgettable classics like the timeless 'Puppy Love'. Donny's star further brightened when he and sister Marie championed all things squeaky-clean on television's Donny and Marie show. Some of us might be surprised to learn that rather than retire to the Utah mountains with his fortune, Mr. Osmond continues to perform, and has his own contract rider for promoters to deal with. In an apparent attempt to cool the jets of near-geriatric female fans the rider stipulates that no roses - fresh, 'lighted' or otherwise - are to be sold at the venue. Furthermore, given that Donny is ageing like the rest of us, no venue is to sell or rent binoculars, thus robbing fans with tickets in the cheap seats of the opportunity to view his magnificent countenance up close. Donny is also very picky about the signing of autographs stipulating that he will do so only as the mood strikes him, certainly not if it's raining and not if he's on the way to his bus.
