'Nimrod's Son' is perhaps one of Pixies weirdest songs. Lyrically, the 'Come On Pilgrim' track is a mixture of apparent death and incest, with the narrator apparently 'nursed' *ahem* back to health by his sister. The joke that 'has come upon me' could be seen as the apparent traits of his children. However, the narrator seems to try and repent ('my luke hands washed') making his daughter pure and his son tall. Whatever way you interpret this song though, you can't deny it's maddening talk of sex, death, and biking, presenting a rather 'hick' Pixies song.
