Another 80s video, the stop-motion animation creation that was the Sledgehammer video both wowed us and horrified us. Dancing uncooked chicken carcasses arent exactly the coolest image we have ever seen, but the use of claymation along with the stop-motion imagery led to one of the most creative music videos ever. Sure, the technology was nowhere near where it is today and Peter Gabriels mouth was a little slow to catch up to the lyrics, but I think the overall achievement overshadows the menial mistakes.
