This is killer track, and a live favorite. In fact, it kicked off their shows on tour for the album that houses it, 'Six To Midnight'. This has a sweet main riff with a tail on it that Jamieson employs a head voice "oohh" over, which is infectious. The drumming from the ever-solid, Kristian Hopes, always makes me want to air drum, hard, wherever I am. Pretty unnerving for other drivers I reckon! There is a sweet breakdown here too which mixes things up before going back into, what has to be, one of bands best choruses. Speaking of the chorus, and the rest of the song, for that matter, the lyrics are pretty bleak, in contrast to the music and I've always liked that trick. Grinspoon have pulled this off quite a few times. Clever. This track should be played in Rock clubs the world over, it would definitely gain recognition within a few weeks and become a floor filler. Rock DJ's, start playing this at peak times, and watch it gather momentum.
