10 Hard Rock Vinyl Albums That Are Worth A Lot Of Money

3. Deathcrush - Mayhem

Norwegian black metal band Mayhem are famous for a number of things, most of which you wouldn't want to discuss in polite company.

We don't have enough time to cover all the tragedies here, but if you're into that sort of thing then it's worth looking up.

The group's debut commercial release was an EP from 1987 called Deathcrush. It contained seven songs which, again, are not really able to be spoken about in front of the local vicar.

Only 1000 copies of this EP were made and, thanks to the band's increased popularity, that makes it a proper cash cow. At this current moment in time, Deathcrush has an average value of $1691.68 for a numbered entry into the limited edition run.

Although, this value does fluctuate apparently, so be sure to watch out for that.

Even the CD version of this album goes for a comparatively high amount, as the legend surrounding Mayhem and its members had maintained public interest in their work.

However, if we had to comment, we wouldn't recommend murdering one of your bandmates as a promotional tactic.
