So if you really think about it, it was inevitable that one of her biggest smash hits from earlier on in her career would be eventually covered by someone who is more inclined to play hard and fast. And it was Finnish power metal band Twilight Guardians who decided to pick up the ball and run with it. Formed in 1996 and with four albums to their discography, Twilight Guardians had already achieved a significant fanbase by the time they garnered even more infamy with their cover of La Isla Bonita from Madonnas third and massively successful number one album, True Blue. Yet it is a fitting homage to this iconic superstar, with none of their signature intensity lost as they pay tribute in the form of metal to the queen of pop.
