10 Incredible Classic Rock Albums We Never Got To Hear
10. Back In Black With Bon - AC/DC
Back In Black is known as probably the greatest bounceback in the history of rock music. After being dead in the water after the death of Bon Scott, AC/DC carried on with new singer Brian Johnson and created one of the greatest rock albums ever made. But then again, what would have happened if Bon was still in the fold?
Though fate works in mysterious ways, sources close to the band have said that Scott was working on songs at the time of his death, which probably meant he saw songs like "Shoot to Thrill" or "Back in Black" in the development stages. Given the man's tragic passing, most of the lyrics of the album stand as a tribute to Bon, but it's much more intriguing to think about what the album could have sounded like if Bon's signature snarl and lyrical approach took over.
There has even been a bit of debate among members of the AC/DC camp as to whether Bon had a hand in writing the lyrics to the final track "Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution." Even if Bon is only there in spirit, the power of the tunes on Back In Black are absolute classics regardless of who's behind the mic.
