10 Love Songs You Didn't Realise Were Really Creepy

9. Last Night - Az Yet

Az Yet were one of those R n B experiments that could only have thrived in the 90s. Earnest crooning in matching suits, pleading tones as they sway back and forth. They were so 90s that they shared a member with Boyz II Men. And their biggest hit, "Last Night" has to rank as one of the least sexy love songs of all time. It starts out OK, euphemistically describing a sexual experience from the previous night which was so beautiful it almost made the singer cry. In case you miss the message, the music video helpfully shows pictures of flowers opening in the background. Tasteful. But then we get to the chorus and euphemisms fly out the window as they sing "Last night, I was inside of you". Woah woah woah. That is...direct. Dial it back.
