Actual Lyrics: "Don't go around tonight, well it's bound to take your life. There's a bad moon on the rise." Creedence Clearwater Revival is one of the all-time greats, with an extensive catalog of hits that provided much of the soundtrack for the late-1960s. Bad Moon Rising is one of their biggest, and is almost as well known for its misheard lyric as it for being a great song. So much so in fact, that John Fogerty himself started singing "there's a bathroom on the right" when he performs it live.
