With a stunning, refreshing hard rock sound, great live energy and the backing of a huge record label, Heaven’s Basement seemed destined for great things. Their one and only studio record, ‘Filthy Empire’, was released in 2013 and blew all who heard it away. Heaven’s Basement toured for the years that followed before lead vocalist, Aaron Buchanan, quit the band in 2015.

After failing to hire a permanent replacement vocalist, Heaven’s Basement threw the towel in a year later. Aaron Buchanan is now the lead vocalist for his own band, Aaron Buchanan & the Cult Classics, while the remaining members of Heaven’s Basement went on to form The Cruel Knives.
