10 Notable Artists With Incomplete Catalogs On Spotify
10. Jimmy Page
Jimmy Page is forever known as the guitarist, producer and leader of the band Led Zeppelin, which was one of the last hold-outs of Spotify, adding its full catalog in December 2013. Page has been active post-Zeppelin, recording with Whitesnake's David Coverdale in Coverdale/Page, with Bad Company's Paul Rodgers and AC/DC's Chris Slade in The Firm, and The Black Crowes over the years.
However, Spotify does not have the soundtrack to the film Page scored, Death Wish II. It also appears to be missing Come With Me, the re-working of Zeppelin classic Kashmir which Page recorded with Puff Daddy for the Godzilla soundtrack. But it does have No Introduction Necessary, which appears to be a bootleg compilation of Page-related sessions, and a 1965 single Page had recorded for the Fontana label, She Just Satisfies/Keep Moving.
The Death Wish II soundtrack is a blues-influenced collection, not only featuring Page, but also Dave Mattacks from Fairport Convention and former Pretty Things keyboardist Gordon Edwards.
Although generally considered to be out of print, Page re-released the soundtrack in December 2011 through his website in a limited-edition format, signing the first 100 copies.
