10 Songs You Didn't Know Were Sequels

10. Steven From Welcome To My Nightmare Reappears - Along Came A Spider

Even after decades of putting on a true hard rock spectacle, Alice Cooper's dark persona was still out in full force on Along Came a Spider. Across the conceptual piece, the album tells the story of a serial killer who kills his victims and amputates their limbs to put together a human spider.

While there is voiceover used at some points on the record and promotional material, most of the tracks are this nameless protagonist simply known as Spider recounting all of the killings in great detail. Once we reach the end of the album though, something starts to turn a corner.

Out of the blue, a disembodied voice starts talking to our arachnid-obsessed storyteller, explaining that there's no way any of these killings could have taken place since he's been locked in a mental institution. Though it is an ambiguous ending on the surface, learning that the killer's name is actually Steven opens a whole separate avenue for Cooper fans.

Steven was always known as the main character of the shock rocker's masterpiece Welcome to My Nightmare. After decades of being shut away from the world, it seems that Steven has been keeping quite well as he finds more terror to inflict on the innocent.
