10. Good Morning, Good Morning Was Inspired By Cereal

John Lennon's upbeat tune Good Morning, Good Morning is one of Sgt. Pepper's latter tracks, even kicking off with a rooster's crow to set the mood. Looking at the lyrics, it's about feeling sluggish but then slowly gaining more energy as the day goes on. Sound familiar?

Well, that's because the track was inspired by none other than a commercial for Kellogg's Corn Flakes. Television was still a fairly young invention in 1967, but the influence it had on culture changed everything. There's no telling what song Lennon would have written had he not seen this particular advertisement. Perhaps One After 909 would have debuted a few years earlier as opposed to on Let It Be?
