Unlike 3 Doors Down, who got their big start in 2000, alternative rock band Creed was already well-established with several hits from the late 1990s. Creed continued their prominence with hit single "With Arms Wide Open" in 2000, ringing in the new millennium with yet another catchy ballad that sticks in your head for hours. The single surged to #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, the UK charts, and the Australian charts in 2000. Creed broke up in 2004, but returned with a reunion album in 2009. Otherwise, we probably will not see anymore from Creed. However, for those of you who are die hard Creed fans, there is always an alternative. The guitarists and drummer from Creed formed a new hard rock band called Alter Bridge with Myles Kennedy lead singer. In my opinion, Alter Bridge's newest album, which came up this past year, is better than the old Creed stuff.
