"I drew a line, I drew a line for you." The only way this lyric makes sense is if Chris Martin wrote it age 3 when presenting his latest artwork to his mother. When a 3 year old draws a line as a gift for someone, it's quite charming. And, if the line is reasonably straight, pretty impressive! Good work on that penmanship, 3 year old! But for a grown adult to not be able to muster anything better than a line? It's either laziness or such gross incompetence as an artist that maybe you should reconsider your practice of giving drawings as gifts.
